Diana Montezuma participated in two events on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare in December.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming anatomical pathology, and we are excited to be part of this evolution! At the 12th Digital Pathology & AI Congress (DPAI) in London, Leica Biosystems presented the session ‘AI-Powered Pathology: The Future of Precision Medicine’ on Thursday, December 11, from 10:15 to 10:45.

It was with great pleasure that we announced that, among the experts, was Diana Montezuma Felizardo, Anatomical Pathologist and Coordinator of the R&D Unit at IMP Diagnostics. We thank Leica Biosystems for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to a conversation that is shaping the future of digital pathology.

Diana Montezuma Felizardo also participated in December in the kickoff of the 2025/26 cycle of the Telemedicine and e-Health Lecture Series of the Master’s Degree in Medical Informatics at the University of Porto, where she delivered the lecture ‘From Traditional Pathology to Digital and Computational Pathology.’ This was an opportunity to learn about IMP’s vision for the evolution of pathology and the transition to digital and computational models within a leading company in the field.
