IMP Diagnostics recently had the honor of hosting Dr. Abdulsalam Aodah, a histopathology consultant from Saudi Arabia, on a visit that proved to be a mutually enriching experience and an opportunity for international knowledge sharing.
The visit provided an opportunity for discussion regarding the integration of digital pathology into real-world clinical practice, addressing the challenges and opportunities this field presents in pathologists’ daily work. It was attended by IMP Diagnostics staff members João Pinto, João Monteiro, Sofia Campelos, and Diana Montezuma Felizardo, as well as Filipe Matos, who led the visit and ensured the success of the entire program. Dr. Aodah’s outside perspective, as a specialist with experience in a different setting, provided valuable insights into the discussion on the evolution of anatomic pathology services and the adoption of digital solutions in the global healthcare sector.
