In the third publication of our series in which we present the diagnostic units of IMP Diagnostics, we move forward to our Gastrointestinal Pathology unit, coordinated by the pathologist Domingos Oliveira.
The Gastrointestinal Pathology Unit comprises a large team of pathologists subspecialized in this area, focusing their study on biopsies of the digestive tract obtained with the aid of endoscopic techniques, as well as on surgical specimens excised in the operating room environment.
Our highly specialized team is also committed to constant innovation, with the recent development of an algorithm to support the diagnosis of Digestive Cancer (CADpath.AI).
